As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Gibbons career has been devoted to diabetic patients who have a lower leg complication especially ulcers/infection and peripheral arterial disease. His mission is to provide the highest quality care and the best chance for healing and keeping the limb by using a multidisciplinary team approach. As the Medical Director of the Center for Wound Healing, he and his team initiated the lower limb preservation service line.  They provide an opportunity for patients with any wound complication using the most appropriate resources tailored to each individual patient’s needs. They offer the newest advanced therapies when needed.  The Clinical Research Team offers clinical trials allowing patients to be treated in their community.
